SMS Terms

These SMS Terms describe the SMS messaging program operated by Babz Studios Inc. (“Babz Studios”, “I”, “me”) for portrait photography clients and inquiries. These SMS Terms supplement my Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Program Name

2. Program Description

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Babz Studios, you may receive text messages related to:

Portrait inquiry follow-ups and quotes
Session booking confirmations
Appointment reminders
Session-day coordination (location, weather, timing)
Photo delivery notifications
Reschedule or cancellation notifications

I do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages without separate, explicit consent.

3. How to Opt In

You can opt in to SMS messages by checking the SMS consent box on the contact form at portraits.babzstudios.com/#contact. SMS consent is voluntary and is not required to submit an inquiry, receive a quote, or book a session.

By opting in, you confirm that:

You are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide
You are at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian
You consent to receive SMS messages at the number provided

4. How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message I send. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

6. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the stage of your inquiry or booking. Typical frequency is 2 to 6 messages per booking cycle.

7. Carrier and Cost Disclosures

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported carriers in Canada include Bell, Rogers, Telus, Freedom, and their resellers. Supported carriers in the United States include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others.

8. Privacy

Mobile opt-in data and consent records collected through this program are not shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for full details on how I handle personal information.

9. Changes

I may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active SMS subscribers before taking effect.
